A1 Movers (YLE Movers)

A1 Movers is considered the second of three Cambridge English Qualifications created for young English learners. A1 Movers introduce children to everyday written and spoken English and show the way for them to be confidence and develop their English language skills. The examinations are chosen around common topics and concentrate on the skills needed to communicate fluently in English through listening, speaking, and writing. Test form is only paper-based and the length of exam is about an hour.

Format
The exam is made up of 3 stages (Listening, Reading and Writing and Speaking).

Listening: about 25 minutes
Reading and Writing: 30 minutes
Speaking: 5-7 minutes

Results
Children don’t fail. All candidates receive a certificate which shows their results. Five is the maximum score for each part of the test.
